Working with the Incite Keystone development branch at Infoplex (a subsidiary of Leightons Group), ‘Incite Keystone’ was a project collaboration application that needed to be migrated onto a .NET based platform. The application was aimed at the construction industry where users can collaborate on projects documentation or plans via module form submissions, emailing and sharing.
The design brief was to create a new graphic user interface concept that aligned to user experience similar to the one adopted by ‘MS Outlook’ – as a lot of the tasks involving email sending/receiving. Module based forms windows connected to the application would need seamless transition in the theme style between the UI of each module.
The design was to have UI patterns typical with this type of ‘outlook’ application such as expandable accordions and folder trees. This included front-end conversion of photoshop mock-up layouts to HTML5 and CSS for integration into .NET front-end framework. I worked alongside web developers to deliver and troubleshoot CSS/HTML and provide the UI icons needed for integrating into the framework.
Long after I completed this Incite Keystone UI design and left the company, the application was acquired by Oracle. For more information visit: http://incite.com
